In order to better inherit intangible cultural heritage and promote Chinese civilization. On May 2, 2025, the Chinese People's Dance Art Troupe visited the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in China, and the cultural and artistic exchange meeting between the two countries was a complete success.
The China Nigeria Cultural and Artistic Exchange Conference was hosted, planned, and fully managed by Zhang Xiao, the head of the Chinese People's Dance Art Troupe. It was received by the Nigerian Ambassador to China, who delivered a welcome speech. A total of 25 children were selected from different cities for this event. There are also 9 outstanding university student representatives from Beijing universities, including Cheng Shi, Zheng Sichen, Feng Haobo, and Zhao Xinran. Qian Hao, Shen Ziang, Yu Xi, Li Suyi, Chu Mingxi, the countless students of our motherland, set an example for their youth. The cutest one is the flower giver Xi Chenhao, whose small body holds the full blessings of the motherland's flowers, expressing respect and respect for Nigeria with fresh flowers.
The guests attending this event also include renowned Chinese oil painting artist Liu Rui and Vice President of Qinghai Tibet Painting Academy Liu Xinlei. They presented their works to the Ambassador to China and sent sincere blessings for the friendship between the two countries.

Inspired by Paper Cuttings art, the dance demonstrated the exquisite skills and profound cultural connotation of Paper Cuttings through dance.The cute dance 'Little Gege' and a pair of flowerpot soled shoes interpret the culture of the upper class society in the Qing Dynasty, reflecting the living customs and aesthetic concepts of the Manchu people.There is also a unique Dai dance called 'Dai Mei', where young dancers showcase the local customs and natural beauty of the Dai ethnic group with gentle and dynamic movements. The vivid and lively performances of the children are highly praised.Among them, a duet dance called "Breaking the Cocoon and Becoming a Butterfly" amazed the audience, with carefully crafted silkworm pupae props, fluttering butterflies, the courage to break the cocoon, and the beauty of transforming into a butterfly. Through the dance performance, self breakthrough, life transformation, and hope for rebirth were expressed. May each and every one of us, like a butterfly, fearlessly embark on the path ahead, bravely reborn, and first arrive at our ownbrilliance and freedom.
There are also many excellent dance works on site that are unforgettable, such as the Han and Tang classical dances "Dream of Terracotta Warriors", "Han style Liying", "Story of Opera", "Song of Beauty", Jiaozhou Yangge "Ode to Yimeng" and other excellent dance works that have won high praise and recognition from the Nigerian Ambassador to China.The China Nigeria Cultural and Artistic Exchange Conference ended with the finale of the dance "Snow Dragon Song", where a fan danced with a thousand year old elegance; A dragon's song echoes through the glorious era! When the flowing light of the fan interweaves with the roar of the snow dragon, it is the perfect encounter between Chinese heritage and modern art.
The children's dance skills are superb, demonstrating exceptional abilities and talents.
