On February 21st, the 12th Chaoyang International Talent Entrepreneurship Conference (ITEC) Innovation Summit was grandly held at the Jiarui Cultural Center in Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is known that this is the twelfth consecutive year that Chaoyang District has hosted the ITEC series of events.         The summit began with leaders from Chaoyang District delivering speeches, emphasizing the district's resolute implementation of the requirements of the municipal committee to push forward the construction of a high-level talent hub. They highlighted the deep integration of innovation chains, industrial chains, funding chains, and talent chains to build a talent system that matches the requirements of new productive forces. 1.Breakthroughs in the Scale and Quality of the Competition, Leading Edge Projects Pioneering New Paths

This edition of the ITEC Global Entrepreneurship Competition focused on the key industries of the "3+X" digital economy development direction in Chaoyang District, concentrating on cutting-edge technology fields such as artificial intelligence, data elements, and digital healthcare. It attracted over 14,000 entrepreneurs and 3,587 high-end projects from 86 countries and regions to compete on the same stage. Foreign projects accounted for over 50%, showing a 104% increase compared to the previous year, fully demonstrating Chaoyang's strong attractiveness in global talent competition.

After intense competition, one special prize, four first prizes, eight second prizes, twelve third prizes, and thirty honorable mentions were awarded, totaling 55 winning projects. The winning teams were outstanding, including teams of academicians, highly cited scientists, and scientists selected for national key talent projects. Over 30% of the teams came from renowned overseas institutions such as MIT and Cambridge University. In terms of project quality, they were highly recognized in the market, with 87% having received funding and around 31% being at the B round or above. These projects have strong technical capabilities, all being technology innovation enterprises focusing on high-end industries, with 33% dedicated to overcoming challenging technical problems and holding 2,224 patents, providing strong technological support and innovation power for industrial upgrading and high-quality economic development in Chaoyang District and even across the country.

2.Frontline Achievement Exhibition: Cutting-Edge Technology Illuminates the Future of Industries

The summit featured an "Excellent Project Achievement Exhibition," allowing attendees to closely observe and experience a series of cutting-edge technological achievements from award-winning projects. For example, a logistics vehicle equipped with L4-level autonomous driving full-stack technology, serving customers in over 190 cities nationwide with products exported to multiple countries in Europe and Asia, has accumulated over 8 million kilometers of autonomous driving operations, showing rapid development. The coffee latte art robot showcased by a winning project, using advanced visual positioning and motion control algorithms, accurately replicates master-level latte artistry and has been deployed in multiple cities globally, injecting new vitality into the intelligent development of the coffee industry, seamlessly integrating technology with life. Additionally, other projects such as the water special robot, vascular intervention surgical robot, and AR light guide module also attracted significant attention. These projects not only vividly demonstrate the technological innovation capabilities of Chaoyang District but also represent an important part of the national technological innovation achievements.

The summit launched the "Chaoyang International Talent Innovation Matrix," establishing a comprehensive and multi-level talent attraction network comprising the "Overseas Talent Liaison Station," "International Talent Partner," "International Talent Ambassador," and "International Alumni Association," creating a strong talent attraction "magnetic field."       At the summit, Chaoyang District successfully signed agreements with award-winning projects from this year's global entrepreneurship competition. Excellent projects from both domestic and foreign origins, such as Meiyue Biotech, Puqiang, and Inxpect, covering cutting-edge fields like the digital economy and future industries, highlighted the strong expectations and confidence of innovation and technology enterprises in Chaoyang's development. It is reported that after the winning projects land in Chaoyang, they will receive corresponding financial support based on their rankings, with the special prize reaching up to 5 million RMB and the total prize money exceeding 50 million RMB. The main founders of third prize and above winning projects meeting the criteria can be included in the "Phoenix Plan" high-level talent "1+8" service guarantee system, enjoying services in eight categories such as health management, transportation, and housing security. Additionally, ITEC will focus on providing a full-cycle "Chaoyang service" covering space support, investment acceleration, talent services, and ecological empowerment for excellent projects.

      The global entrepreneurship competition at this year's conference established a full-chain service system of "Pre-competition Coaching - In-event Services - Post-competition Empowerment."
